Founded in 1984, GWR has spent four decades creating a space where runners of all abilities can find connection, confidence and a sense of belonging. Their weekly sessions, social runs and club races have supported thousands of runners over the years, helping people discover not just fitness, but friendship and community.

We’re especially grateful for the support GWR has shown the Bristol Running Show. From the very beginning, they’ve championed the idea of a local event that brings runners, makers, coaches and clubs together under one roof. Their presence helps anchor the show in the wider Bristol running landscape — a reminder that running is, at its core, a community activity.
